Yahoo!

Greg joined Yahoo! (yes, they actually include punctuation as part of their name, sigh...) in September 2004, after quite a few years at Philips. He's a member of the core search-engine team, working on ways to provide more intelligent summaries of the web pages returned as the results of users' searches. It's rather different from graphics, compression, and especially astrophysics, but it's also a fascinating and rapidly changing field, and Greg is enjoying it immensely. Yes, life is good for Greg once more, you betcha!
